Examining Measurement of Bias to Alcohol-Related Cues (EMBARC) trial

Currently recruiting: click below to find out more.
This study will attempt to shed light on the neurocognitive mechanisms behind the cognitive biases that are thought to lead to the development and maintenance of addiction.
Participants will complete cognitive tasks designed to measure cognitive biases while brain activity (EEG), eye movements, skin conductance (GSR), heart rate (ECG) and breathing rate are recorded. The results are expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding of how these biases manifest across the alcohol use spectrum.
