Suvorexant for Insomnia and Alcohol Use Disorder: The SAILOR Study

Currently recruiting: click below to find out more.
Insomnia is a common co-occurring condition in people with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and presents a challenge for recovery, as each condition can affect and worsen the other.
While treatment options exist to manage AUD and insomnia separately, research is needed to explore integrated treatment options that address both problems at the same time.
This study is investigating whether Suvorexant, a TGA-approved medication for insomnia, is a feasible treatment option for people with co-occurring AUD and insomnia.
